GBBW FUNDRAISING SUPPER AT FROGMARY GREEN FARM
For the fourth consecutive year, we hosted a Great British Beef Week Charity Supper at Frogmary Green Farm to raise money for the R.A.B.I. As in previous years, guests enjoyed a sumptuous West Country meal from local suppliers, while speaker, Jilly Greed, co-founder of Ladies in Beef, gave a talk about how Ladies in Beef was formed, the amazing work R.A.B.I does and her own farm.
GREAT BRITISH BEEF WEEK 2018
Great British Beef Week is organised by Ladies in Beef (a group of more than 150 female beef farmers), in partnership with farming welfare charity, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I).
The aim of the campaign is to encourage the British public to celebrate the quality and versatility of British beef, particularly Red Tractor farm-assured beef. Minette Batters had kindly prepared a film for us talking in detail about the importance of Red Tractor Assured produce.
The night raised £5,750.00 being made up from the raffle, the table flower raffle, an auction full of the usual banter and £1000 match funding from Barclays.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to evening including our main event sponsors, Stokes Partners LLP Solicitors, all other sponsors, speakers, attendees and staff for helping to make such a wonderful evening. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
