Jane Swayne of Gilbert and Swayne is back with another Luxury Chocolate making course.
Learn how to make beautiful, handmade chocolates filled with utterly delicious flavours. Jane’s approach to making chocolate is to use natural ingredients, fresh flavours and locally sourced products, where possible.
You will learn how to temper chocolate, make a number of different flavoured ganaches & experiment with a variety of decoration techniques including the use of magnetic moulds and coloured transfer designs.
The course will run from 10am to 4.30pm and includes tea, coffee, cake and lunch.
You will take home a minimum of 70 delicious, moulded chocolates to share with your family and friends.
All of our courses are friendly and fun experiences, designed for all abilities, with the aim to introduce you to new and exciting culinary skills that you can share with your friends and family.

Gilbert & Swayne was created by Jane Swayne in 2013 and is based in a converted barn, overlooking Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. After an initial course at Meneer Chocola in the Hague, Jane completed her training with World Master chocolatier Ruth Hinks of Cocoa Black. All the chocolate used is either certified Fair Trade (Classic Collection) or single origin organic (Brompton and Somerset Cider Brandy Collections). Visit Jane’s website.
