Join Helen Smith as she teaches you the key skills of pastry making.
On this summer course, you will learn how to master the techniques of using filo pastry for ‘light and crispy’ spinach and ricotta parcels, make hand-raised pies using your very own hot water pastry and chocolate tarts and summer fruit turnovers for the perfect summer dessert.

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Helen Smith is a freelance cookery tutor and lover of local food and seasonal produce based in Taunton. Having formerly worked for a Devon-based food charity working with local community groups, Helen is committed to helping people enjoy food and feel more confident with cooking in a relaxed and friendly way.
Helen holds a NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery and organises and runs food festival demonstration kitchens, as well as providing tutoring for local cookery schools.
