Enjoy a morning of authentic, hands-on Thai cookery at Frogmary Green Farm with traditional Thai chef, Pheeraya Hill.
Our Thai cookery course starts with a coffee and a chance to discuss Thai dishes and how and where to source the best Thai ingredients locally with Thai chef, Nid.
Working in small groups, you will create three delicious Thai dishes that we’ll all eat together with Thai jasmine rice, with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have along the way.
The course will run from 10am to 2pm. Please remember to bring plastic or foil containers to take any food that is left home with you to share with your family and friends.
All of our courses are friendly and fun experiences, designed for all abilities, with the aim to introduce you to new and exciting culinary skills that you can share with your friends and family.

Pheeraya, Nid for short, is orginally from the North of Thailand near Chiang Mai. Nid moved to Somerset in 1992 and has lived here ever since. She has always been a keen cook and gained many of her traditional Thai cookery skills from her mother.
Nid found it difficult to source Thai ingredients when she first arrived in Somerset, so she grows many of her own Thai vegetables. As some ingredients are still quite difficult to find in the shops or to grow yourself, Nid has developed many traditional Thai recipes using local vegetables, giving the dishes a unique twist.
